A NEW WAY FOR BRANDS TO SELL
Ter·vi·a — "TER-vee-uh" — the third way.
Not wholesale. Not retail. Tervia — the best way.
Bulk orders at a better margin than your own retail. The same $100 garment: $30 profit at wholesale. $40 profit selling direct. $50 profit with Tervia. Paid on delivery. Nothing comes back.
01 — THE PROBLEM
$30 with volume. $40 with a trickle.
$20 to make
$100 retail
$80 — where does it go?
If you've run a brand, none of this is news. It's here so the rest of the page makes sense. A garment costs $20 to make. It sells for $100. Where do the other $80 go? If the brand sells wholesale, a retailer keeps $50 of it. The brand walks away with $30. If the brand sells it themselves — their store, their site — they keep more per piece. But they pay to win every single sale, they carry the stock, and up to forty percent of what they ship comes back. Call it $40, on a good day, moving a few units at a time.
For decades, nearly every apparel brand on earth has been choosing between those two numbers.
Brands did not lose their craft. They lost their channel.
Through the 1970s, '80s and '90s, a brand designed in-house, made in factories it knew, and sold through storefronts where the customer was cared for. Design, production, sales — all close to home. Then design went to consultants and licensees — who also had deals with many similar brands. Production went overseas and kept moving, chasing cost. Sales went to e-commerce, then to Instagram, then to TikTok, then to Amazon, now to AI tools — fighting the algorithm for attention every single day. Each step drifted away from the brand. And the margin went with it.
The answer is a new and better way forward, one that was never possible until now.
Three things everyone in the industry lives with.
One. We guess.
Fashion is one of the few industries that manufactures a product a year before it knows whether anyone wants it. Style, color, size, quantity — guessed, committed, paid for. Twelve months later the truth arrives on a sales report, and the truth is usually “some of it.”
Two. We mark down.
A brand prices something at $100 because it believes in it. Then, week by week, that belief gets discounted in public. 20% off. 40%. Final sale. What didn’t sell at any price comes back to a warehouse nobody wants to own. And the customer learns to wait — so every season starts with less trust than the last.
Three. The customer lost the relationship.
There used to be someone on the other side of the sale who knew you. Now there’s a feed. It doesn’t know you; it knows a click. It charges the brand whether you buy or not and forgets you the moment you scroll. The brand pays for every sale and earns no loyalty. The customer is served by nobody.
Three problems. Same root: a model where the brand carries every risk and owns none of the relationship.
02 — HOW TERVIA WORKS
Tervia runs the three as one loop.
Every brand does three things — designs, produces, sells — and the three don’t talk to each other. Design hands a collection over the wall. Production makes what it was handed. Sales does its best with what arrives. The signal is lost at every handoff. Tervia runs the three as one loop.
Tervia-Design
Starts from real demand, not trend reports — the platform knows what will sell before the sketch begins, and connects the brand to design talent from a global network.
Tervia-Production
Sizes every run to orders that already exist. No speculation, no overrun. Every garment ships with its Digital Product Passport (DPP) already written.
Tervia-Sales
Creates, collects, and fulfills demand through the Tervia Sales Network — and every cycle sharpens the next.
Every sale teaches the next design. Every design shortens the next run. Every run gives the network more of exactly what it can sell. Agentic AI at every step, one platform, one method. A brand doesn’t have to start with all three — it can begin with the piece it needs most and grow into the rest. But the loop is where the guessing stops.
One rule moves the risk off the brand — by construction, not by promise.
“Tervia never takes title to goods that are not already sold and paid for.”
What changes for the brand.
No inventory risk.
No markdowns.
No returns landing on the brand.
No months of waiting to be paid — the brand is paid on delivery, firm, no deductions.
Anyone who's spent a career in apparel has been told a fashion business with no inventory risk isn't possible. That's the assumption Tervia was built to retire — connect with us and we'll walk you through the numbers.
AI at the core. Human touch where it counts.
At Tervia, agentic AI is the core. It reads what actually sells, shapes the next brief, sizes the next run, decides what to offer, where, and when. It learns from every cycle and gets sharper. The machine does the heavy lifting it’s actually good at. And at the one moment machines are not good at — when a real person decides to buy — there’s a human touch. Boots on the ground. Not replaced by the machine; equipped by it.
That's the Tervia Sales Network: a proprietary sales platform that assembles and directs — and grows as brands and demand grow. It makes everyone in it better off. Nobody in the network earns from recruiting. Every dollar earned traces to a garment sold, paid for, and delivered. How the network is built is the part we show in the room, not on the page.
03 — EVERYONE WINS
A model works great when everyone wins
Brands
More profit per garment, demand certainty, zero markdowns, a product passport on every garment.
Designers
Matched, paid work across brands and you share in Tervia's profit on every style you create, when it sells.
Factories
Transparent terms, no cancellations, no chargebacks, and a share of Tervia's profit on every style you make.
The sales network
Real earnings from real sales, paid as the garments sell. Nothing from recruiting — ever.
Consumers
Curated fashion, full-price value, and a human touch at the moment of purchase — from someone who knows them, and will be there next season too.
Tervia orchestrates — and generates value on every transaction it moves. Everyone who touches a style shares in its success.
04 — WHY WE STAY AHEAD
Competitors hold pieces. Tervia holds the chain.
The first brands are onboarding now, after meeting them face to face at MAGIC Las Vegas, the industry’s largest trade show, this summer.
The first launch goes live this fall.
Deep before wide: the second launch begins only after the first is proven. Tervia would rather be deliberate and right than fast and hopeful.
The sales network
A live, working network the platform assembles and directs — and grows as brands and demand grow. Every earning in it traces to a garment sold.
Ground-truth demand data
Every order is real demand, not predicted. Each cycle teaches the platform what sells, what holds, and what reorders.
Full-stack, patented
Design, production, and sales on one platform, agentic AI at every step, protected by two granted U.S. patents, including a Digital Product Passport built into every garment.
Each one gets stronger the longer we run, and each one strengthens the other two. The software is the ticket to entry. The network, the data, and the method are why we stay ahead.
There’s a short overview deck for anyone who asks — it says what we do, not how. The how is a conversation.
